I have acknowledged a number of things in my music video that are worth improving for my next draft, or at least for the final edit.
* Lip syncing - my actor has listened to the song a number of times, but finds it difficult to keep tracks of the lyrics as they are being sung due to the vocal style. There are some lip syncing shots that are better than others; some lines were shorter and therefore it was easier to memorise the rhythm they are sung in. I should go over some of the weaker lip syncing shots and consider re-shooting them.
* Better lighting in some green room shots - Although my intention was for the room to be dark, with the light being focused on Dan, there is a side of his face that is darker than the other, which wasn't intentional. The problem with focusing a light on his face only is that it has the potential of hurting his eyes. Even taking the light a further distance away may not fix things; I may end up standing in the way of the light, being unable to avoid it due to the room's limited space. It is possible to make minor light readjustments in Abode Premiere Pro, however.
* the lighting in a few house shots - Although many of the shots I have done in my house feature decent lighting, there are others that are poor in comparison, due to filming them at different times of the day or not having enough lights on, or both.
